First time ever!

Last night we ventured out to my favorite bar~ Panini's for a few drinks. Well Wednesday nights they have a bull riding pit for anyone who wants to ride. I have always wanted to ride a mechanical bull, but figured I would just get thrown off right away. Surprisingly, I did a good job of staying on it~ I know I lasted longer than 8 seconds! I always wanted to be a cowgirl, and now I feel like I am on my way! My roommates Courtney and Kelly are naturals on the bull, and little Sarah attempted to get on the bull but decided that she was too drunk to stay up there and ride. It was even better when they played country songs because more people wanted to get up on the bull to show their stuff!

Also at Panini's we ran into KTK(Kyle Tondo-Kramer) and Pedro(Zach Brenner), they are two of my houses favorite people! They smile bigger than anyone we know! I was happy to find out that Kyle likes to read my blog and wanted to make it on my blog....so here ya go! I spared you the embarrassment and didn't put the picture of your tramp stamp up. Hope you enjoyed being added to my blog!

Wedding Bells!

This Saturday my good friend Rachel got married to the fabulous Josh! Everything was just beautiful! Rachel was the most gorgeous bride and all her bridesmaids matched her wonderfully! They were so lucky to have a great day, it wasn't very nice in the morning but mid morning the sun came out and made the day! The wedding ran smoothly and Rachel's cousin Shawna sang a few songs and did a fabulous job, she has an amazing voice. I have to admit I cried a few times but that's ok because two wonderful people and families are coming together!

After the wedding, we went to Rachel and Josh's home so they could take pictures with their dog and then we took Homer to the kennel for the night so they could party down with friends and family! Rachel's parents had food and drinks at their house in between the wedding and reception so the wedding party could get something to eat and relax a little bit! And Rachel made the cutest comment, "Where is my husband at?" Oh my god, she can finally say it and it was just too cute! All the girls were like Awwwwwww, because we all wait for that one day to come to us! They only had a short time to relax before leaving again to go take more pictures. As they were getting in the stretch Hummer, Rachel's little cousin was yelling Rachel, Rachel, Rachel, trying to say goodbye but Rachel just couldn't hear him because of all the noise inside the Hummer. It was just too cute to watch him continue yelling her name until she turned around and saw him!

The reception was so much fun! Rachel and Josh's parents did a slideshow of pictures of them when they were babies up until now! They did a couple stints from television shows that were very cleaver, one was called "The Schlotterer Bunch" and the other was of Rachel's friends doing the theme song to her favorite show "Friends." Rachel is a school teacher and her class was giving their congrats to her! Too precious! The father daughter dance was great because they had a special dance they did together. They even took dance lessons so her dad would do it just right! I will try and post a picture but I don't know how well it will turn out, it was too dark to show up.

Then the party started, drinks were flowing and everyone hit the dance floor! Just being their with friends and family make it the best time ever! Everyone had a blast celebrating this special day with two amazing people!

Rachel and Josh~ I wish you nothing but the best out of life together, you are both amazing people and I know you will make it through everything together! I love you both!

Love my girls!

Last night I was sitting in my room with Steph watching The O.C. and could hear my roommates outside singing and laughing, so I went downstairs to see what was going on. They were playing beer pong, and corn hole in the front yard with the music blasting. They were all telling me not to do my homework and grab a beer. So I had my first beer since Lent began! And, boy did it hit me fast! I am not a big drinker and 2 beers did me in! Needless to say I never got my homework done until this morning, but it was well worth it. We had a great time outside because the weather was nice and EVERYONE was out and about. I unfortunately am starting to get sick because my mom has been sick for over a week and I think she passed it to me. So I was in bed around midnight and could hear everyone outside until early in the morning! Spring Quarter is always the best quarter....

This is the 1st picture where all the roommates have taken a picture together!!! YAY

Happy Easter!

I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter and hope they got to spend it with their families! My day started early with eating Easter Dinner at my Gram Cousino's house at 11 am...who eats that early? That is still breakfast time to me. But, we had a great meal and had an Easter egg hunt around her house, it was more of a treasure hunt and I won $20, then my mom gave us scratch off tickets and I won another $15! So I did pretty good today! My mom isn't feeling that good today so we left there around 1:15 so she could come home and then my sister and I had to go to my gram Fell's house to eat at 2pm. I wasn't hungry but I ate her famous corn and some potatoes. The Fell side of the family is big and LOUD, there is always so much going on that you practically have to yell to talk to people sitting right next to you. Unfortunately my dad couldn't make it because he was in Arizona, but he called and EVERYONE passed the phone around to say Happy Easter! That's exactly how it went 3 years ago with me, I was in Texas and missed Easter, so everyone got on the phone to say they missed me and wished I was there. The love of a family is amazing! All the girls sat around the table and talked while all the boys went outside to work on my uncle's Harley. After about an hour of trying to get it to start, my cousin Lea's fiance(Tom) goes out and 5 minutes later~ it's running! We always have a good time together and can't wait for the next holiday to come around! I hope everyone's day was as good as mine!

Porsche Carrera

Today I got to drive a 2005 Porsche Carrera($80,000). The car is absolutely amazing! I didn't plan on driving it, I was just expecting a ride. It all started out when I was talking to my mom's friend Bill about how much I LOVE cars. He also is a car fanatic and we got into conversation about what are good cars and what kinds of cars he has. Well he called my mom on Friday and said I will have my Porsche out, do you think Kaci would want a ride? Well, she of course said YES, and called me to tell me that I had to be up at 'The Dinky' around 8 pm Friday night. Well I didn't get there until 9 and we just got into conversation with everyone. So we planned on going out today. Bill and another Bill were up at Mid-Ohio(in Lexington, OH) racing their porsches on the track, so he said that when he got back he would come over and we would go for a ride. Like he promised he showed up around 5:30 and we took off. Even though the car is a year old, it still had the brand new car smell. We went on some back roads so we could really show off the power it has, and when we got into North Fairfield, he asked if I wanted to drive? Are you kidding me? I would love to! So we switched spots and I took off, he even said you can rev it up to see the power, well, you don't have to tell me twice to go faster! By 3rd gear I was flying(won't say speed b/c I would scare my parents) and it felt so smooth and like I was going 30 mph. I couldn't thank him enough for the chance to drive one of his amazing cars. He even suggested that I try a racing school, which would be right up my alley!

Happy Birthday Natalie and Kelly!

Today is my twin roommates birthday! I am not sure what is in store tonight for us, but they always have something exciting going on, and I am sure tonight will be no different. They are wild and crazy girls, but tons of fun to be around! April was a crazy month for my house because their are 5 birthdays. So far we've had Annie-April 2, Kelly- April 6, Natalie and Kelly-April 12 and then on April 28 is Steph's birthday. Plus, my little cousin Rachel's birthday is April 24. Whew~ that's a lot of birthday celebrations! My spring and summer schedule is booking up fast! I would much rather stay busy than be bored any day. What a beautiful day to have a birthday!

Roof Top Tanning

It was so nice outside today and I just couldn't stay inside, or go to class for that matter. So I headed to Easton to do a little dress shopping for the 3 weddings I have coming up....April 22, May 27, and June 3. When I got home my roommate Kelly said do you want to lay out on the roof and tan? I couldn't possibly pass that up, so I ran to my room to put my bathing suit on and then went to her room to get on the roof. It was perfect, no clouds, all SUNSHINE and about 75 degrees with a little breeze to keep it comfortable! Then Cathy came out with us, we planned on studying and reading for school, but we ended up talking about the normal girl stuff! I don't know what it is about roofs, but it always seems to be where I lay out. I think I feel closer to the sun that way and I will get a better tan? I love to be able to watch people and they don't even see me up there. We had a good 2 hours up there before I had to leave for work. I love this time of year and if it's nice again tomorrow....we'll see you on the roof!

Sunday dinner

On Sunday afternoon my grandma Fell had my sister, my mom and I over for dinner. She made one amazing meal(like normal). We had Chicken, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, a salad, and then for desert she made Dutch Apple PIE! Delicious! I was so stuffed by the time dinner was over that I didn't think I would be able to eat a piece of pie, but the sight and smell of it changed my mind! Towards the end of dinner one of my grams good friends stopped over to chit chat with us. Then my aunt Jackie, uncle Jeff, and cousin Rachel came over. They were suppose to fix my grandma's TV, but ended up sitting around talking with us and we got into telling stories. Every time we meet we end up telling funny stories/jokes that makes us all crack up. To me, that's the best part about family time! We stayed over there for about 3 1/2 hours and had the best time ever. I received a phone call from my gram yesterday thanking us for the bottle of wine we brought and just being able to spend time with her and said that we have to get together again soon! She is the sweetest lady and so darn funny, not to mention an unbelievable cook! It's always good to see her, even though I don't see her nearly as much as I used to, so I have decided that I will go visit her every time I make it home! Well, that is, if she can make time for me with her busy schedule. Two weekends ago I stopped by her house and she wasn't home, so I left a message on her door to call me so I could stop by and chit chat...so I told her I would like to make an appointment with her the next time I am home. I will post a picture of us once I get home, I accidentally left my camera there this weekend...oops.

Volleyball Tourney

On Saturday I played in a volleyball tournament held by the Norwalk Jaycees at the Norwalk High School. At the last minute my team couldn't find another guy to play with us so 2 of the guys went to another team, I went to another team b/c they needed a girl and my other guy played with my sister's team. So it all worked out in the end and we were all just glad that we got to play. There were 4 power teams and 8 semi-power teams, so the tournament went fairly quickly. I played in the power division and my sister had a team in the semi-power division. Her team only own one game out of like 15. They had never played together and picked up new people at the last minute. All the girls on my sister's team wore their Aiden's Spa and Salon shirts from their regular rec season! As for my team, 3 of us had never played together and actually just met that day. We did a fairly good job, but we didn't come home with a win. For the power division, we played with 4 guys and 2 girls and played 2 games to 25, the semi-power teams had 3 guys and 3 girls and played to 21, because they had more teams then us.

I pulled my quad muscle during warm-ups, I guess that could have been caused from not stretching before getting on the floor. And today I could barely get out of bed I was so sore. My back hurts and my knees are killing me since I didn't wear knee pads and kept dropping to the floor.

After the tournament, I came home to rest up a little bit before going out for the night. My friend Abby and I met another one of our friends(Todd) up at The OB, for a few drinks and to learn about his past! Quite interesting if I might say! Todd played on my sister's volleyball team Saturday. He was cracking us up all day! The rest of my night isn't even worth talking about. Some people are just immature and don't know how to ACT properly. They think they are big shots, when they are nothing in a nothing town. It just goes to show that the good people do win in the end! At least I can walk away with my pride and dignity! Don't you wish you could say the same?

Happy Birthday Kelly!

Yesterday was another one of my roommates birthdays! So all day yesterday was a party. Especially with it being somewhat nice outside! I unfortunately had to work until 9:15 so I couldn't join the festivites until after that and after watching The O.C.(my favorite show). We all planned on going out to Panini's last night but at midnight it was pouring down rain, so half of us stayed home and just danced around in the living room(becoming a weekly tradition). Before everyone left for the bar, we sat around the kitchen table and watched people play beer pong(normal pre-party spot). Little Sarah put on her rain boots last night and all the girls were so disgusted because they don't like them, but I think she looks so cute in them, and only she can pull it off. Kelly was so funny last night too, I won't go into details because it was all stories for the house, but she is too cute. We are having a big party for her on Saturday night because her parents are coming down tonight, and we all know that parents can't hang! haha I will not be able to attend the party because I will be going home to play in a volleyball tournament at Norwalk High School. I will post something on that later.

Nascar Daddy!

This past weekend my pops came into town, which only happens once every 3 months or so since he took a job working for Nascar. He is head of the Busch Series and has to be present at every race. And since the Busch series didn't have a race this weekend he was able to come home. He never has enough time to do everything he wants because my sister and I are always saying there is something wrong with a car, the garage, the washer, paint on the walls... just never ending for my fix-it-dad! When I got into town I told him that the mustang was making a grinding nose when I brake, so we went for a drive and he said it was my brakes indeed and they would need to new pads on them before I went back to Columbus(especially since gas is $2.59 and my Jeep is a gas HOG, so I don't drive it, but keep it because it's my #1 baby)! Sunday morning I heard him on the phone calling around to get brake pads and he left to go pick them up and I went to brunch with my mom, Pam, and the lovely Downey's! I came back to help him finish up and found that it was basically metal rubbing on metal. Yikes! But, I can always count on my papa to fix whatever is wrong! We then had to take it for a test drive to make sure everything is good, and it purrs again! The next time he is home, he will be putting new tires on my Jeep! Gotta love DADS!!!

Charlie's skinny now!

Saturday afternoon I took Charlie to an obedience class that was offered by the vet clinic. Well when the trainer(Nick) saw him, he asked if he had been groomed yet? I said no because he hates to get his hair cut, so I just let it go. Then he made the comment, "Do you brush your hair everyday?" Then he said that he needed to get his hair cut whether he liked it or not, you have to make him so he gets use to it. So after the class was done, I came home and told my mom, well luckily my mom's best friend owns a pooch parlor called " MB"s Pooch Parlor" so we took him out there to have him shaved up. He did have a few knots in his hair but nothing major. As he was getting shaved he began to look skinnier and skinnier. I always knew he was skinny but everyone else thought he was fat because he had so much hair. Well now he is all skin and bones, well with some hair too. He looks really long now. Too funny, actually. Everyone was laughing at the way he looks now because they are use to seeing a little fluff ball! Mama still loves you Charlie!

All Green

On Wednesday night we all went out to 4 Kegs for Liquid Dope, well everyone drank except me! Half of the girls got their really early, I mean like 7 pm and didn't leave until closing time. But, Sara, Kelly and I didn't get there until 10:30 and then I left at 11:30 to head home. I was just too tired to trek on. The funny part on the night was half of us were wearing green. We didn't plan it, nor was it St. Patty's night. It's just funny how sometimes we dress alike and don't mean it!

The best part of the night was Courtney wearing her bookbag to the bar and when she wanted to leave to go to another bar, she grabs her bookbag and everyone else attacks her to keep her at 4 Kegs. She was a little faster because she got past everyone and made it to Panini's!

Also today is Annie's (one of my lovely roomies) birthday!!! I love you girl!!!
